TBR: February 2018

Hi, readers!

Today I’m sharing my TBR for February. TBR stands for ‘To Be Read’. In last month’s TBR post, I shared three planned books to be read in that month. As for the rest of the books I read? I simply chose books that sounded good to me in that moment. As such, I read so many great books in January and had a very happy reading month! I’m continuing with this loose TBR format and I’m sharing three books with you today.

And now, onto the books!

The Female Persuasion by Meg Wolitzer (out April 3)

Wolitzer’s new book follows a young college student who meets a feminist icon and undergoes a unique mentorship with her idol. I’ve already started this one and am enjoying it so far! It’s an interestingly written coming of age story.

Love in a Fallen City by Eileen Chang

I’m really excited to read this short story collection! These stories promise to touch on love and family obligations. This will be my first book by Chang, an author I discovered in the book Literary Witches.

Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton (out February 6)

A Cuban-American woman travels to Cuba after her grandmother dies. Our protagonist learns more about her family history and I believe this book shifts perspectives between past and present. I’m really looking forward to this one!

That’s it for this month’s TBR! What books are you excited to read this month?
